nanâtohkokwâsowak | Bidakiigiwewog is an exhibition that brings together Anishinaabe, Cree, Métis, and Saulteux prairie artists using quilting as an exploration of relationship building, understanding familial relationships, building new friendships, and the impact of gifting.Art Bar – 229 20th St W
In the front of house, visit Art Bar's gallery and participate in an open mic, which will feature music, poetry and storytelling. In the back theatre, theatre artist presents a pop-in version of his play Welcome to My Country. This interactive piece introduces the audience to newcomer experiences and stories in Saskatoon.

Brandon Vukelic, a glassblower from Saskatoon and the artist behind Phoenix Ash Memorials will be demonstrating his art form at Escape Sports. Brandon creates pendants, marbles, sun catchers and sculptural pieces that he infuses cremated ash into. He will be set up outdoors at the back loading bay of the store showcasing various techniques and methods that he uses to create his beautiful art.Gather Local Market/ Saskatoon PRIDE — 414 Avenue B S
When you come to Gather local Market, you can travel the world through global food and beverage experiences.

Featuring artwork from Colourwave Media (Rebecca Schwan & Ryan Regier) and Heartgarbage (Kelsey Fagnou). Hardpressed will host an interactive community collage using Kelsey’s work, with visitors contributing scraps and materials from the artist’s creative collection. MT Workshop is the showroom, studio and wood shop featuring the lighting, artwork, and ceramics made by Todd Gronsdahl and Megan Macdonald. Todd has shown his work all over Canada and the US, Megan's mid-century influenced ceramics have a robust following in California, NYC and all over the world! Abstract and mixed media artist, visual designer, and storyteller Mal Cloke of Art Club YXE (@artclubyxe) will have several original pieces on display at the back of The Little Market Box. Mal will also be conducting a collaborative canvas at the back for all to join in on! MURALS
As part of the Riversdale Art Walk, we're transforming boarded up buildings into works of art with the creation of new murals. Thanks so much to the City of Saskatoon and SK Lotteries for making this project possible.CHIKAKO OGAWA was chosen from a public art call, and will be creating her work at 318 20th St W.JO VAN YOUNG To celebrate our partnership with Saskatoon Pride, we commissioned a mural from artist Jo Van, who will be creating at the corner of Ave C and 20th St W.BRODY BURNS will paint on the brick wall beside Oxbow Architecture. This mural is in partnership with the unique and fabulous art collective The 525.AZUL GONZÁLEZ and NIC PARADIS will collaborate on a mural at 318 20th St W, in partnership with Riversdale Chinatown. The artists met with a local building owner and heard his stories about growing up in the Chinese community in Riversdale. That connection served as inspiration for their work.Oxbow Architecture is commissioning another mural to be painted during the Art Walk in their new vestibule at the corner of Ave C and 20th Street. You can watch the work of JAMIE MERILEES come to life during the event!The Riversdale Community Association completed a community made mural, led by artist KASEY JOHNSTON. Their mural will be launched at the Riversdale Art Walk and you can find it on the corner of Ave C and 20th Street W!
