AKA Artist-run is non-profit, artist run centre, currently featuring a billboard project with Amalie Atkins titled "Agatha's Almanac". Christina Thoen, a recent inductee into the Prince Albert Arts Hall of Fame, has been a professional artist for over 30 years. Stop by and enjoy the talents of 35 local artisans. Artist pieces include crystals, silversmithing, beadwork, ribbon skirts, moccasins and more. The shoppe itself feels like you are walking into a forest. Be welcome. There will be a tarot card reader onsite during the artwalk offering $20 mini readings. PAVED Arts is presenting a solo exhibition of the Edmonton-based artist Kelly Andres entitled "Latent Swamp." The artist describes her work as "an ecology of images made with living plants, machine learning, and water." The Last Kisses in Iran by Elham Zafaremili is a participatory artwork in which visitors collaboratively paint sections of a large canvas that together reveal an image of The Last Kisses, a symbol connected to recent events in Iran. Through this collective process, the work becomes a peaceful act of remembrance for those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom and a reflection on families separated. Combining painting, video, music, and activities for children, the project invites people from all backgrounds to join in an expression of solidarity and a shared hope for a world without anger or fear. The third installation of the Prism Project is an art exhibition featuring the work of artists Diana Chabros, Grace Ford, and Molly Cooper-Smith. Installed throughout the café’s bright and welcoming space, the show highlights bold contemporary works that invite visitors to experience art in an informal, community-centered setting. Presented as part of the Riversdale Art Walk, the exhibition pairs visual art with coffee and evening cocktails, creating a vibrant gathering place to celebrate creativity and connection.M.T. MT Workshop is the showroom, studio and wood shop featuring the lighting, artwork, and ceramics made by Todd Gronsdahl and Megan Macdonald. Todd has shown his work all over Canada and the US, Megan's mid-century influenced ceramics have a robust following in California, NYC and all over the world! Riversdale Art Walk coincides with Exit Through The Woodshop Episode 4–the final exhibition for Saskatoon Makerspace’s current Artist Development Residency Program. This unconventional exhibition showcases the work created over the past five and a half months at Makerspace, where art meets tools and experimentation. The Little Market Box invites visitors to explore, connect, and create with a hot chocolate bar hosted by Those Girls at the Market and a collaborative community art activity led by local artist Ashley of A.Lo Paint. Guests can enjoy their drinks before heading to the back of the shop to contribute to a nature-inspired artwork featuring florals and trees, using acrylic paint and crayons. An exhibition of hand-painted signs by Dave Smith celebrates the bold visual language of rock ’n’ roll and vintage sign culture. With the guidance of curator Valerie Wiebe, The Two Twenty’s coworking space will be transformed into an artistic celebration of the world of dandelions–with a participatory element sure to delight visitors of all ages.
